Gazprom Arena: New Year with a New Name!

The stadium on Krestovsky Island was named Gazprom Arena. According to the terms of the agreement signed between the club and PJSC Gazprom, the new name of the stadium will be integrated into hundreds of carriers - from logos on the external facade of the arena to staff uniforms, souvenirs and tickets. The arena came under the control of blue-white-blue on the basis of a 49-year concession agreement, which Zenit and the government of St. Petersburg concluded in February. The implementation of the rights to the name of sports facilities is one of the main directions of development of the sports industry in the world. The versatility, technical equipment of the arena on Krestovsky, club status and record attendance at home matches allowed Zenit to develop the largest sponsorship package for Russian football.
